I remembered it last evening. I was -2 then. It's reminded me that on 21st of this month my dad was captured PoW so I have a post for that day. The way he describes being captured is not how I would have imagined it.
Pretty tribute in lovely colour and detail Hazel, my Dad was waiting to cross the channel for 3 days in port on an overcrowded ship prior to D-Day must have been horrendous:)
