b&w reflections: No. 1: Sound II

This time of year I am always, and more than ever, seduced into photographing colourful flowers, blossom etc. This week I've decided to convert and process into b&w previously posted colour shots of reflections.

This is Antony Gormley's sculpture in the Crypt at Winchester Cathedral.
Lovely capture - looks great in B&W

Superb monochrome image with wonderful tones and contrast Hazel, suspect that it achieved in limited natural light:)

@pcoulson

Thank you for comments and yes, not much natural light + a yellowish artificial light behind the viewing platform!

@onewing

Thank you, Babs. I always go down to the crypt when I visit the cathedral although the scene there does not change that much!

That works well in b&w, yes it's so easy to take pics of the summer flowers.

What an interesting image. Is the statue standing in water? Is that how you got the reflection?

You captured this very nicely in black and white Hazel. Nice shot.

@skstein

Sandy, on that occasion it was partly in water, yes. And sometimes the whole floor of the crypt is flooded http://365project.org/quietpurplehaze/365/2015-01-23
