When I first saw Don, earlier this year, he was in Winchester Cathedral making a painting of the West window and became part of my strangers' project.
Since then I've met him a few times about town and this week he was painting the flower stall, a commission from the owner.
Each of our encounters follows the same pattern: Don keeps painting whilst talking to me; I keep taking photos whilst talking to him; and at some point he asks me if I've got a good shot.
I specially liked this painting and if it had not been already claimed by the owner I might have laid claim to it myself.
Don tells me he has two more paintings to do in the High Street in the next couple of weeks.
I like this shot and I'm quite impressed with your whole 'Strangers Project'.
Not only have you captured some great images but you've met so many interesting people and uncovered all sorts of interesting stores about everyday people going about their lives.
What a wonderful shot of an artist in action! I have to fav this, if only to encourage myself to take up the brush again after what has been quite a long time!

Yes, he does and I think his paintings are mostly sold before he does them - if that makes sense!

I always offer but he always says 'That's alright'! He does know about 365 Project and found my shot of him in the strangers' project,
Love this portrait as it shows what he does
Awesome capture
