This is a wonderful beach. We camped, about 12 of us students, near here in January...I kid you not, when I was a student @ Swansea Univ. it was perishingly cold and as I was the only one with gloves...I was ejected from our large cosy tent to gather firewood, aka gorse and brambles. Ruined a perfectly good pair of gloves my mother had given me :-((
My big mouth has historically got me into scrapes...and largely made my life interesting and eventful ;-)
Wonderful shot, and the iconic white house too. I was there a couple of years ago walked along the coast from Port Eynon and back. Beautiful coast line.
Wow Hazel, has it made so much difference already? Are you using a special cookery book? This is a glorious photo, a wonderful beach & an inspiring walk! So pleased for you.
From one end of that beach to the other and back again - makes for a great run! Especially if you try to get back in a shorter time than going out! It's been a few years now!
Ooh I've been there (twice) and absolutely love it! I have a photo that looks very similar if not identical to yours actually haha. Did you walk along the beach or across to Worm's Head?
@quietpurplehaze Ahh I see. We crossed the first time we went, it was very challenging, and in hindsight flip flops were definitely a mistake... I'd love to go again though! Looks like you got good weather as well!
Thank you - so kind to comment - I don't believe in miracles but this seems like one!
Peter, thank you for the comment and fav. The sun appeared at just the right moment!

Rather close to the cliff edge, I believe?
Yes, plenty of gorse and brambles still!
Pat, I'm just not eating sugar! It started to make a difference after, say, a week to ten days.
Thank you! I've just been reading an article in today's paper by a nutritionist who says 'sugar is toxic'!!
I might walk it now. A beautiful piece of coastline.
We walked to the start of the causeway to Worms Head - wrong time of day to cross!
We had great weather. You did well in flip flops!
