flood defences

I took this shot on Sun16th and I'm just fitting it in to an album as I wanted to use it. So these were the flood defences - high volume pump and barricades - in place on that date in a road in Winchester near to where my friend lives. Prior to this the road was completely flooded. I haven't been back there but no mention on TV news so the situation is obviously the same or better - not worse, thankfully.
I liked the reflections of the man's orange waterproof clothing.

This is a wonderful shot of some very important work. I too love the reflection of the orange jumpsuit. And I feel appreciation for the work of the man wearing it.
