- window shopping (can dogs smell things through glass?!)
- off on his holiday (with the dog sitter)
- just after this shot was taken he rolled in the smelliest fox poo, as they do and a lady passing by took pity on me and donated wet wipes from her handbag
- on one visit to the dog groomer it was chaos down the lane because of road re-surfacing and a workman escorted us on foot back to our car and carried Jinks for me
Such memories. He was so, so cute. I always find it so hard, and we have had a few dogs over the last 35 years, and always tell myself when we decide to get another that they give so much pleasure that the heartache at the end is such a small part. However, it never gets any easier. As a full on 'doggy' person my heart and thoughts are completely with you.
Oh Hazel, what a lovely collage. You must miss him so much. Hope you are okay. I really will send you an email soon. Had such a busy week though and tomorrow I have two medical appointments. I need a quiet day.
Pam, thanks for the hug! I always said never another Cairn terrier but now Jinks haa gone I am looking at Cairn rescue sites! Ned a breathing space first though.
@quietpurplehaze Take your time Hazel and the right little dog will come your way! Good to think you are giving a forever home to a rescue dog. I am sure you will get lots of love from any dog you choose!
Oh I feel quite sad looking at your dear little Jinks Hazel. Such a dear face but what a happy & adventurous life he had, no regrets for the wonderful time you gave him.
Babs, I am absolutely OK, thanks. Try to have that quiet day which you need.

Just to say excuse my sloppy typing in my comment to you - I really must stop using that iPad as I cannot see what I am doing!
Issi, thanks for your visit and comment. It was not long ago https://365project.org/quietpurplehaze/365/2017-09-22
