bug city

I took my camera into the garden this morning and was surprised to see that Ray's little box hedge had sprouted brown flowers.
Then I realised that they were tiny colonies of little spiders, suspended on fragile webs on the tops of leaves.
They were very obliging, dancing, dispersing and regrouping to the tune of my camera. My head is itching so I thought I'd share them with you.
Cool shot, but Ewwww, this is creeping me out!

As I have a big dislike of spiders, my first thought is Aaaahhhh! But the capture is fabulous. Such great detail!

I know nothing about the life cycle of the spider....do they lay eggs or babies or what? This looks like a multiple birth.......keep your eye on them & see where they go Hazel! Great capture!

They are rather sweet though it reminds me of those terrible stories about people getting bites in tropical countries and then spiders hatching!
