IC and friend

You just never know what you're going to see at the VA.
Was he the ventriloquist? My hats off to him for being a survivor of the Tet Offensive 1968.

My advise is to have fun and shoot with a story in mind. I like this pic, if you had added a little about the gentleman would be bonus. I like his smile and sunglasses. god bless him for his service to our country. check out the video on Inspirations of Jay Maisel

@cejaanderson Yes Jane he was the ventriloquist. I "talked" to the puppet, named IC, the entire time. Yes there are men and women up there who have many stories.
@trm Thank you for following me TR. I appreciate it. As I told Jane, I talked to IC more than the gentleman. They were very entertaining and I think were happy to be doing that. I did ask if they were entertainers and IC said "everywhere we go." Thanks for the heads up on Jay Maisel. Will try to take his suggestions to heart.

Great shot! We will be at the VA hospital next week but I have never dared taking photos - maybe I'll take my P&S so it isn't so obvious!

@lindamp5 @tosee @barbtatum (I used my phone. It's a hard to break old rules. I was a nurse for 37 years and we didn't take photos of anyone at work, and actually they frowned on patients taking photos of other patients.) @craftymeg @pyrrhula Thank you so much for the lovely comments and putting me on the PP. (too bad by the time I saw this it was already off the PP) This gentleman seemed to be a truly happy guy.
