Thank you one and all for your lovely comments. This violin is one that my father took lessons on when he was a kid. It probably was never used after that. I thought I might have reconditioned one day and learn how to play but it's not likely that will happen. But it makes a good subject for a photo periodically.

I thought I might have reconditioned one day and learn how to play but it's not likely that will happen. But it makes a good subject for a photo periodically.
