Get Pushed Challenge 450
My partner says "here in the UK it’s “back to school” day tomorrow - 8th March - how about portraying what this might mean for staff and/or children after over two months of online learning?" This was tough for me. No kids going back to school. No kids period. I'm not sure what it means but I figured they would have to gather up their supplies, including hand sanitizer and face mask to be ready to go.
@365anne Here's a photo for your challenge. This was a challenge I really had to think about. Not sure that I answered it well, but it was all I could come up with. The kids here are not back to school full time. Only one bus goes by the house and I was busy every day except the first day I noticed it passed by at 3pm. I rode around and looked at school, but not much evidence from the outside that there's anything going on inside. Besides, hanging around a school with a camera could be suspicious. Thank you for your challenge.
Kathy, I like this very much, the effect you have achieved speaks of something “not quite there” which is clearly the situation for your children just now. Thanks for putting so much time and thought into the response to the challenge
Surreal...and sensitively realised. Just how it must feel for children and their parents...l can't imagine. When will our world come back? I fear it won't.
Thanks to you all. I did think about a tablet or laptop. Didn't think about the phone. Wasn't sure if kids took any devices to school. I processed this with the colored pencil artist filter in photoshop.
