Thankful for the food and the friends about to eat this feast
Uploading in my jammies with the elastic waist thinking about how thankful that I have people I can call my "family" even though no blood connection.
Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate. I'm thankful for you all.

This was at a friend's house. There were four of us and we all brought food. @30pics4jackiesdiamond Thank you Jackie. What you see here starting at 11 o'clock is dressing, orange-cranberry salad, a plate of white meat turkey hidden behind the salad and glasses, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, reisling wine, snowflake rolls and a plate of dark meat turkey. What you can't see, because they were in the kitchen, was dessert: pumpkin pie, apple pecan strudel pie and pumpkin cheesecake. Needless to say, if I had been dropped in a river when through, I would have sunk to the bottom, even though I took only a taste of everything. @wakelys You bet Sue. My closest family is 13+ hours away. @craftymeg Thank you Margaret. It was so good to eat and to spend time with good friends in the absence of family.
@haskar It really was. Not a thing on the table I didn't like, except I prefer the dark meat to the white. Thank you. @30pics4jackiesdiamond Snowflake just refers to the sprinkle of flour on top Jackie. Nothing special. The rolls are soft too. Thanks.
