Get Pushed Challenge 491
My get-pushed partner challenged me to food levitation photography. The specific challenges I had were: equipment to hold foods, as many of the tutorials showed two stands with wires strung between them so skewers were my only option, and lighting which I addressed by using natural light streaming from another room.
@kali66 Thanks so much for the challenge. I had never done this before. I think I need to start combing thrift stores or find someone who can build me some simple props and devices to use with my photography. (Boy I sure do miss my handy husband as I'm not much good with tools and my hands.)
This is so well done Kathy, and just goes to show we dont really need all the fancy equipment to meet our challenges, I wonder if you could hang a broomstick between two chairs and hang things from that? that is what i would try!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Wow, thanks Jackie. @grammyn Thank you Katy. It was fun. @summerfield I didn't have a prop for the knife especially since it was a bit heavy. Start my thrift store shopping after the new year. @wakelys Thank you Sue. It was fun once I figured out how I was going to do it. @shutterbug49I appreciate that Debbie. Thank you. @kali66 I thank you again for the challenge. Good idea about the broom stick. Sometimes I'm a pretty concrete thinker which is why trying to be a bit artistic is difficult for me. @haskar Thank you so much Hannah. @pyrrhula I appreciate your kind comments and feedback Ferry. Thank you. @cdcook48 Thanks so much Chris. @julie Thank you Julie. @bkbinthecity Thank you Brian.
