Instead of cleaning and getting out to take photos, I chose to use today, when I had no other obligations, to shorten the sleeves of a sweater I finished last fall. I only wore it once because the sleeves were too long and the cuff with the cables (bottom of image) made them heavier. I finished one sleeve early this afternoon and just got the other sleeve cut and ready to sew stitches together. So glad this project is almost done.
Impressed very much with your knitting skills! I would have found another way to do it. It wouldn’t require re-knitting the whole thing! I love the color, though, and the textures of the project against the background textures.
@illinilass Yes indeed. I hunted to find this color, which is actually a bit darker than it shows up in this photo. @granagringa Thank you Madeleine. I haven't got this second sleeve put back together yet because I wasn't home this afternoon when there was good light. @wakelys Thanks. I've held my breath the entire time. @grammyn Thanks Katy. Sometimes I can be very stubborn and tenacious. @Dawn Thank you Dawn. I wasn't quite sure how to "pose" it. @rensala Thank you Renee. I try. @pyrrhula Thank you Ferry. @onewing It will certainly fit better. Hopefully someone could look at it closely and not see the repair. @tunia Thank you Tunia. The actual color is a little darker. @summerfield Thank you Vikki. Natural light coming through the window. @kjarn Thank you Kathy. I think it will be a lot better. @shutterbug49 Thank you Debbie. I hope so too. @30pics4jackiesdiamond Thank you Jackie. I wanted a green sweater. The real color is a bit darker. @jamibann Thank you Issi. @casablanca Thank you Casa. @pusspup You flatter me Wylie. @corinnec Thank you. One stitch at a time. @craftymeg I like a challenge unless I'm knitting in a group. Then it has to be fairly mindless. @olivetreeann Thank you Ann. I did knit a tube and practice on it it several times. First wasn't very successful. @haskar Thank you Hannah. @bkbinthecity Thanks Brian.
