@pyrrhula Thanks Ferry. I was definitely having a hard time standing still when I took it (and several others). Glad at least one turned out. @grammyn Thank you Katy. I'm tickled it's in focus. Many I took last evening were not.
Apparently “deadly nightshade” is Atropa belladonna and not this plant. As a matter of fact some sources indicated it was edible. I don't plan to eat any part of it thought. @casablanca I'm mad at myself for allowing all the weeds to take hold this summer. It just got too hot too early for me to get out there and deal with them. @kjarn Thank you Kathy. They were a bit of a suprise. I'd seen the plant before in other places but never noticed berries. @rensala Thank you. No, I don't think it is deadly. @wakelys Thanks Sue. @pusspup Not dangerous I think, although the birds have left it alone. Thank you Wylie. @thewatersphotos Thanks Gary. They are pretty. I think they're not native but have been here long enough that they are common. @mcsiegle Thanks Mary. One of several that have taken over the garden. Perhaps a photo for another day. @craftymeg Thank you Meg. All my sources indicate that this is a different species that the deadly nightshade. @haskar Thank you Hannah.
