Frosting on the Pansies

It was a bit chilly this morning.
This makes me cold to look at it. We have been having frost too, but I don’t have anything this pretty to take a photograph of it on.

We had frost a couple of days, but not today. I hope the blossoms will still open.

@grammyn I just happened to be outside taking photos of another subject and noticed this. (The other photos were meh! so not posted). Thank you.
@kjarn It does. Like coating things with sugar.
@jamibann They usually rebound. That's why they are so nice to plant in the fall here.
@casablanca They are hardy plants and usually recover to bloom some more when the temperatures warm up a bit.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thanks Jackie.
@wakelys Yes they were. I hope they'll recover and look more energetic when the temperatures warm up a bit. Thanks Sue.
@johnfalconer It was in the 20's that morning. So yes. A little cold. Thanks John.
@novab Thank you Nova. A little sugar on the flower and leaves.
@tunia I'm hoping they'll revive. They ususally do.
@bkbinthecity Thank you Brian.
@craftymeg Thanks Meg.
@pyrrhula Thanks Ferry.
@haskar Thank you Hannah. A bit cool recent mornings but the frost burns off pretty quickly when the sun comes up well.
@shutterbug49 Thanks Debbie. I think they will. If I can just remember to water them.
