Sunday I ripped out the insidious mint plant that would have taken over the town and we found this lovely flower once all the mint was cleared away.

Lovely flower and nicely captures. I am cutting back my cat mint this week. I am just trying to see that time of day has the least amount of bees around it.
@jendee3 I'm glad I didn't have that problem! Good luck & be careful! @digitalrn No, no, it was quite healthy. That's the problem: it spreads. And spreads. And spreads... One of the egglings is mint if it germinates and then we will plant it in the garden **in a pot** so it can't take over the whole garden!
@gmitche47@angievega Thank you, Grace & An-G! Without being in the shade of the mint, it’s really flowering now! It may even be today’s “photo-journal faithful”post as well! @digitalrn Right you are, Rick! @michelleyoung Thank you so much, Michelle! (And it’s SOOC!) @loriromp@bella_ss Thanks very much, Lori & Sheralee!
@michelleyoung It is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!! Our master gardener friend “installed” this garden 2–3 years ago; she says “It is a long lasting flower...i.e. months. If the plant is mature enough, you will have more ‘flowers’.” Woo-hoo!!
