That may be abstract to some people. but not to me!:0) I have seen that sight for over 20 years and know it well. But alas, I cannot seem to run anymore..maybe one day.
@espyetta Busted on the first comment! The interesting thing about these sneakers is that the insides are chewed up while there is still significant “tread depth.” The insides are chewed up at the achilles … from hitting the heel of the footrests of indoor rowers! Sneakers can last rowers a long, long time!
@rhoing Well, I should not have put the last sentence....to see what others think it is...I could delete it now. :0) I just was a runner for all my life..half marathoner...so I have seen that view!
@espyetta Sure you should have put the last sentence. "Was" a runner: is this a hiatus for something like knees or is it just the time required for something like halves for now? (Hoping it's the latter!)
@rhoing I hate that word "was" and am trying to not to use it. I ran up until two years ago when I was hit with all sorts of strange health problems....I gradually just could not do it anymore....doesn't hurt, just could not do it. Can barely walk much either, without getting sore like I have done a marathon. Am hoping it is hormone shifts or something and will get over it one day....until then. Bah. Can't run.
@rhoing Oh, that is okay. I always appreciated every run, because I expected that I'd get bad "something" (insert here: knees, back, inuries) and not be able to run. This was just not what I expected. But I am filling the void with photography walks. :0) And, what kind of shoe is that, btw? Looks alot like mine! I have worn Brooks Adrenalines for years...before that Asaics 2440s or some such number.
@rhoing I just took a photo of the fake wood computer desk at work for texture. We all have those moments of desperate, luckily for me they tend to be well recieved.

@espyetta New Balance 719s. As I wrote, on an indoor rowing machine, sneakers last a long, long time!
