Bird’s-eye view II

This is the one I’ve been waiting for! “House finch,” I believe. Now that I’ve seen images online for male and female house finches, I’m thinking that “Bird’s-eye view” a couple days ago — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2012-05-14 — may not be a sparrow as I tagged it, but rather a female house finch. Help, anyone?

We have lots of sparrows around here. The one you posted a couple of days ago seems to have more white around its head than a regular sparrow - may well be a finch. Love the color in this little one - nice details!
