A brisk day on the lake, but a great row! by rhoing

A brisk day on the lake, but a great row!

It was a bit windy, but there is definitely one broad strategy to deal with 10 mph winds: if the wind is coming from the south, use the south dock and stay on the south end of the lake. The other advantage: the south dock is a floating dock! By sticking to the windward end of the lake, the waves are quite manageable and I had a really good row. This was the view as I arrived back at the dock a bit before 5 p.m.

Tomorrow I see my friend and frequent rowing partner. Fortunately or unfortunately, this will be a “professional” visit: Dr. Roland will be removing my loose screw…
