Nadine & Bobbie

Bobbie has been Clare’s very-good friend and walking buddy since they became faculty colleagues more than 20 years ago. This year Bobbie has been making the 4-hour drive back-and-forth to her hometown to go through the process of getting her girlhood home ready to sell and move her mom, Nadine, to a nursing home here. Lots of miles logged and we have been cat-sitting — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2011-01-23 and http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2011-02-06 — frequently, but things are getting close to what we economists call a “steady-state equilibrium.” Bobbie has been quite a trouper through it all: a very devoted daughter!

@digitalrn Thank you, Rick! Nadine has been very difficult to photograph, so I tried shooting before they were "ready" and I got lucky with this one!
