It was so good, we told our kids about it. Our older daughter replied, “Too funny about that recipe — Steve made that for us last week!” (Steve’s quite a cook and we give him a subscription to Bon Appétit.)
Later in the summer, we made it for ourselves! Corn season!
By the way, what is it about old(er) people and food? Do they/we tend to remember trips by the food we ate as much as by what we saw and did? Anybody else have this observation?
