My wife had pulled in the driveway and saw this fellow, so she called me inside and told me that the hawk was on the fence. So ran and got the camera and ran outside. Tried to ease up on it, when it was looking away and got pretty close, so got several shots. And then it gave me that bend over stance and let it fly. And so did Mr Hawk right after that.
What a great spot he picked - that background is wonderful and so is that fence. Really nice focus on him - like that you were able to catch the yellow around the beak. too. Fav
