My Red Shouldered Hawk Again! by rickster549

My Red Shouldered Hawk Again!

After getting my owl shot, I headed on back to my car and was going to put away the camera gear and then do my walk. Took off and got to the far end of the walk and had then started back. Right there in one of the heaviest traveled areas, I just happened to glance up, and saw this guy just sitting there. Think it may be the same one from yesterday, but quite a ways from where it was yesterday. I'm pretty sure it had been sitting there when I went past, but just hadn't noticed. So had to high tail it back to the car and drive back up front and hope that it would still be there. And again, it had stayed right were I had noticed it. Got the camera and gear out and walked right up to it, and was almost right under it. Not sure what is wrong with this one, but it sure doesn't seem to be afraid of people or kids. So got my shots of it and headed home. Hope I'm not boring you with these stories, but I just can't get over what I'm seeing these last couple of days. Plus, I'm not finding a whole lot of other stuff either.
Even love this close-up of him.

Sharp head shots of hawks are never boring, nor are the stories of how they are acquired. Well done again, Rick.
