I Think I May Have Gotten a Wink From Mom Great Horned Owl!
Not sure if that's what it was or not, but it almost looked like it. Didn't find the family right off, but after getting some osprey shots, I heard them a little further off. They had moved probably 100 yards from where they normally had been hanging out. There was a good bit of screeching, but I think that might have been because the mom was being attacked by a couple of Blue Jays. And these Jays, were literally flying into mom, trying to knock her off of her perch. But again, after I got there, seemed like the Blue Jays calmed down and flew on off. So maybe mom was winking at me. :-)
