Imitation Fireworks!

Always think of fireworks when I see these seed pods. Not sure what kind of flower it was from.

Looks like it might be some kind of milkweed....maybe Butterfly Milkweed?

I'd agree with Anne - believe they're milkweed - l've separated quite of few of those little seeds to plant next year.
