Egret on the Golf Course!

Had to change my photo location today due to the storm, so took a stroll on my neighborhood golf course, which was closed. Did find this egret strolling across the fairway, headed for the lake.

Looks a bit odd seeing him out of the water. Nice shot though.

Guess he had heard the storm warnings, too - his evacuation route! Neat find.
