Love this - imagine your interpretation is correct! Just noticed that I don't see any green around they eyes - the ones I see here always have a tinge of green around that yellow and ours don't have the yellow feet.
@milaniet@bozi thanks Milanie and Bozi. Milanie, These are the snowy egrets, are you thinking just the plain egrets. I looked back at some of my shots of the egrets, and they do have the green tinge at the beak.
