Strange Growth on This Tree!

Well, it almost looks like some sort of growth, but actually a Blue Heron just standing there on one leg. Guess the Ospreys have flown the coup, just above the heron, or I don't think the Heron would be allowed to stand on that limb.

This is a neat shot - a heron wasn't my first guess but when you named it, you can definitely tell its outline. Pretty neat.
