Went to my neighbors house and set up for a moonrise. Had quite a time trying to get things set just right. So had to do some seeing to to get this final shot.
Love this - you have such nice spots nearby to get beautiful reflections. Like the tones to this with the lighting and silhouettes. Looks nice on black.
Lovely and it's got me scratching my head trying to figure out why the shape of the moon shows up in the reflection. Is that part of your seeing to? Nice job with the moon in the sky. Looks real

Jane, the reflection was what I got with the shot. I had to do a fairly long exposure, so it blew the moon out. I then changed settings just for the moon and made that shot, which then I combined the two as you see it here. The only seeing to that I did was insert the clearer picture of the moon in the sky.
