Was doing my walk this afternoon and was away from the car and spotted one of the Red Shouldered Hawks on a sign at the front of the park. So naturally, I had to hurry back to the car and drive back up. Of course, the hawk had moved from where I originally spotted it, and I nearly walked right up to it before I noticed it. (Was looking up in the trees, imagine that). But did get several shots of it at this location.
All three of these are just amazing, Rick. This one's really nice against black - wuch nice feather detail. Fav again - I haven't even seen or heard a hawk in months!
