I had just gone out and chased off the flying squirrel, and they they run up on the fence and just stare. I have even trimmed the other limb, and they have already gone higher. Sometimes they can land on the feeder and other times they hit the feeder and then bounce on off to the ground. It would seem that this would tend to hurt, but they hit the ground and take off running, like nothing happened.
