Had been looking for a long time and finally decided on this one. Wanted something that I could carry around for extended periods. Some of them that I looked at and picked up weighed a ton. So we'll see how this one goes.
Excited for you! It should help out with all the wildlife you have been capturing!
If this doesn't work out, I can't recommend highly enough a Nikon 300 f4 PF and a 1.4TC, Weights in at 2lbs, with the 300 I handhold sharp shots @1/200 and with the TC I handhold at 1/400-1/500.
@teriyakih@ludwigsdiana@elatedpixie@koalagardens@rontu@jgpittenger thanks everyone. Think I'll really like this one. Did a lot of reading and research and it boiled down to this one. Teriyaki, I had sure looked at the Nikon 300, but was a little more than I wanted to put into it at this time. It did really sound like a winner. The new one is a little less than 2.5 pounds, so hopefully it won't get too heavy out there. Time will tell.
