Broad-Headed Skink!

While out looking for the owls, this guy ran in front of me. Almost thought it was a snake at first, but then realized it was a lizard. This one was close to ten or eleven inches in length. They are one big lizard.

That's one long lizard! The snake part would make me wary of where I was walking. Good clear shot of the lizard - they always scoot so fast.
