Megasaurus Bugs!

Well, actually, they are Wheel bugs. First time that I've found these and sure glad that I did not touch them. The following is some information about the bug. The wheel bug, Arilus cristatus (Linnaeus), is a moderately common, widely distributed, beneficial assassin bug that preys on pest insects. However, its bite can be more severe than a bee sting, and both nymphs and adults should be avoided or handled with caution.
Wow, I don't I ever saw one. Learned something tonight.
