Trying a Little Panning Action!

Guess I need to slow down the shutter speed to get more of a sense of motion. This guy was moving right along and it hardly even shows in this shot.

Agreed. Seems t me the object I am panning is always gone by the time I get the shutter speed right!

That's something I've yet to venture trying - going to have to get brave and give it a try some day.

It seems like this panning really has to be planned ahead..... Looks like a fun technique to try, I never attempted....
