As we near the end of the Christmas festivities I though I would post a picture of the mistletoe growing on a tree in Burghley park. For those that don't know mistletoe is a parasitic plant that attaches itself to the tree and draws nutrients from it. Bit of a deadly kiss really ;)
Nice clear shot, thanks for the follow, following back. I have seen a few trees around my way with clumps of mistletoe on too, but not as many as this tree in your shot. I have been looking out for berries, but haven't spotted any yet.
