These tiny little fungi are so much smaller than the monster field mushrooms. Some are as small as 2mm across. But they are very beautiful with lovely colours, shapes and textures.
@cruiser@sarahlth Hi Chris and Sarah - thanks for your kind comments. A walk this morning produced about 8 different types - all really, really tiny. Bit obsessed by them - have 2 more collages made!!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Hi Jackie - all of these are pretty much as is. The orange ones and the group of white ones have a wet and spongy texture and were hard to photo - had to use the auto exposure on them and the sharpen tool on the white ones. Otherwise just cropped to size. The pink ones are fantastic and the individual white one is nearly transparent in real life. Big, big time wasters!! But who cares!!
@brender@tibles@dawnee@gaylewood Hi everyone - thanks for your comments - I'm glad you all liked the little fellows - they are pretty special especially for something so small. Great practice for making collages too - unfortunately practicing the same technique so all the collages look a bit the same.! Cheers
@casablanca How true - even found some new ones this morning - grey and blue. Yesterdays' pink ones have gone! Funny - having a photographic collection -have always been a fanatical collector - maybe explains why I like this hobby so much. Thanks for your thoughts!
@granagringa Hi - Thank you for your kind thoughts - there are so many small fungi popping up that are becoming quite an obsession. Because they are so small their background litter always looks fascinating. Lots of fun.
