reminiscent of "fleurs"

I tried to do this for the artist challenge - ac-choiniere - however, my effort is actually only very slightly reminiscent of the original rose portrayed by the artist in his Fluers portfolio!
Very effective image - I like it.

@dkbarnett Thanks so much Delwyn. It's quite tricky to try to emulate (should that read copy?) someone else's style - especially when they are much more skilful than you LOL PS - It's lovely to hear from you again.

I don't know the original so I have no idea! I thought the flower was underwater here, which I found quite interesting!

@casablanca His was a rose which had interesting lighting and lovely tones - unfortunately not much like this though.... Oh well! The underwater impression is quite accidental. LOL Cheers Rob

@carvl Hi Caroline - thanks for your feedback. The artist challenge is quite interesting - sometimes the artist chosen really appeals to me and others not so much. I'll try to put the link to the challenge here : https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/31103/another-artist-challenge-begins If you read through the intro it explains the idea quite well. You can also just try to adapt the artist's style to your own style. Thanks for your interest. Cheers Rob

@dkbarnett Sometimes life is just too full - but what a wonderful problem to have... :) I'll look forward to your occasional, beautiful photo. Cheers Rob
