Nindigully Pub for our last night. by robz

Nindigully Pub for our last night.

This is a famous old pub which sits at the meeting point of many of the old stock routes. It has a long and colourful history. These old drover's hats have all been labelled with the name of their original owner and the area that he came from. They make fascinating reading - and this is only a small proportion of them.
"Wherever I lay my hat, honey that's my home!" Singing the song now. I love this, what a great display, great history and a fabulous name for a pub!

Oh wow, what a fabulous drinking hole. Just adore the hat collection. Maybe that's where my best battered Akubra ended up after it was pinched.

@casablanca @madeinnl Hi Casablanca and KO - you guys are both so clever - able to put a song to any situation! We loved this pub - as you said Casablanca - so much history and an awesome name! They live up to their droving history by producing the biggest burgers you've ever seen - their biggest one can feed 40 people!! Specially made buns the size of tables! LOL Cheers Rob

@suzanne234 It was so good to see them all labelled too! Often these old pubs just shove stuff up everwhere - usually wherever it was put 40 years ago!!

@fbailey Hi FB - it was almost as if they each had the personality of it's original owner - different shapes, colours and degrees of decrepitude!! :)

@robz Abso-bloody-lutely, and it was my best battered one too. I have another, but it's only around 15 or so years old and still wearing in.
