Thornbills

Sorry to take up your feed - we'll be travelling for several days and these are some uploads in advance. These are very cute - but very well camouflaged in the grass. They hang out in large groups.

Does the camouflage helps when they travel in big groups? i mean, they make noise arent they? Its great you could capture a few in one shot :)

Thank you all so much for your kind comments and for your travel wishes. I hope you won't mind if I do a group thank you when possible as that should give me a little time to view and comment on your lovely images. It was so nice to read all of your comments on the Thornbills - they are a favourite of mine too. This was another composite - rather than say so each time I thought it might be OK to just acknowledge the composites with a tag? Cheers for now - Rob
