@golftragic Thanks Marnie - you have to be careful in Brisbane these days - lots of roads funnel you into a tunnel before you even know it! They are fun for photos though! :)
Takes me back to driving those horrible tunnels in Paris. Eww!! But then sometimes the mountain ones in the Alps are sooooo long you think you will never see daylight again, but the engineering awes me nonetheless
@casablanca Even the knowledge that there's amazing engineering on show doesn't make it any easier when the tunnel takes you under water!! All it needs is a tiny crack - and before you know it there's a torrent and then there you are - drowned like a rat!! Or there's all that dirt and rock on top of you (like the Alps!!) and all it needs is a tiny crack - and before you know it it all comes crashing down and then there you are - squashed like a cockroach!! Looking at all of this - I think you were lucky to even make it home!! :)
