Into the unknown.. by robz

Into the unknown..

Yes - lots of boring photos - compliments of a day where no man, women or dog should be outside. This was fun to play with though - for the composite challenge with the theme of "transport"
Yeah, I know what you mean Rob. I had to exhume a couple I'd had stashed for the proverbial rainy day. I rather like the effect you've got here, quite surreal.

I don't need the excuse of bad weather to get caught up in photo play. Very cool

A quick thank you to all of you for your wonderful words about this image. I totally enjoy this aspect of "photography" and really appreciate your supportive comments. To see this on the PP and even the TP was quite incredible - it actually looked a little funny beside the other real photos!! Thanks so much again, sorry for the group response but I want to have a look at your posts now... Cheers Rob

Oh I like your editing! 80s cool!

I keep coming back to this one. It is so unusual (in a good way). How do you get such a glowing effect? Beautiful for the transport challenge.
June 10th, 2019
@aussiechic29 Lol - it would be so good to be able to think - "make this have an 80's look". Unfortunately I just play and change and play until it looks like something I like - whatever that might end up. Such fun though. :)

@shutterbug49 Hi Shutterbug - Thanks for your lovely comments - much appreciated. That glow that you mentioned usually comes from combining an image with its negative. Because the blacks turn into whites in the negative everything that used to be a shadow is suddenly bright. It's lots of fun to play with but it takes a bit of experimenting to get to have an idea of what the colours will do. Worth a try if you have time.
