Rob - the end of the Abstract challenge was the end of the day where ever you lived and there are people here in North America who are still early afternoon.
I just got my abstract entry in but I highly doubt that you had the opportunity to see it since you had the challenge up and running shortly after my entry was submitted.
Perhaps I should just tag it for the next abstract challenge but then the date will be one day early ...
@farmreporter Hi Wendy - I am so sorry - the challenge ended on Sept 15th so I left it until the 16th to choose the short list and upload it. But you are so correct - I have just checked and your's did not show up when I was looking at them. The whole date thing is so confusing - I have no real idea how much difference there is in time from one part of the world to the other - nor who is ahead or behind... Please do tag it for the new challenge - I'm sure that would not be a problem and it is one advantage of having no "dead time" between challenges. I'm afraid this is always going to be a bit of a problem - people know there's a difference but I'm sure only a few people would know the actual number of hours required to allow for it. I will definitely try to take it into account if I have to host another one. Please accept my apologies. Many thanks Rob
