The Gallery of Modern Art certainly offers some interesting items. And most of them have very little explanation. My daughter tells me that you have to apply your own interpretation........
This is really well done! Is there a special place that they have designated for photographers to stand to get everything lined up so that the faces and ears fit so nicely on the statutes?
Thank you, again, for entering the six word challenge.
@777margo Hi Margo - this is in Brisbane - it's at GOMA - the Gallery of Modern Art. It's worth a visit next time you're in town. The exhibits change regularly too so you never know what you're going to see. :)
@farmreporter Hi Wendy - thanks for responding to so many of my sixws entries - that's very kind of you. It is a fun challenge and you must have had heaps of entries, so I do appreciate you taking the time to comment on mine. I don't know how this was produced, it was an exhibit at the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane. Maybe the artist got permission to set it up? Cheers Rob
@golftragic LOL Marnie - I felt like that for most of the artwork at the Modern Art Gallery in Brisbane. It was interesting but mostly beyond my comprehension......
@robz Yeah, I feel the same. And that raises questions about the purpose of displaying art that most (?) people don't like much and don't get. And, what's the purpose of art anyway? If it's for the artist/s then displaying it in public is superfluous to its primary purpose, and if it's for the public then why make it so incomprehensible?
@golftragic LOL - when you put it like it actually does make you think about "why"? Though I must admit I did enjoy parts of it - they can be clever even if a bit incomprehensible... :)
Thank you, again, for entering the six word challenge.
