It is a Beehive Ginger plant.. an ornamental I think.. I thought to start with they were a fancy sola light.. @onewing that one didn't beat me Babs.. lol..

@golftragic Thanks Marnie I have my Mum to thank for that she was a real whizz ... bit of a shame it doesn't lead to other things .. I went to introduce two friends to each other yesterday and my mind went blank .. lucky nameless was wearing a name tag so they introduced each other lol...

Hi everyone - thanks so much for your interest in this plant (you actually caused it to appear on the PP which was lovely :) ) I thought you might be interested to know that Julia was able to identify it - it is a Beehive Ginger Plant - such a fitting name too.
