@caterina @ludwigsdiana Hi Catrina and Diana - thanks for your interest in Jump-Ups. That's what the locals call them but I think they are very similar to a Mesa. They have a layer of very hard sedimentary rock as their top layer - it doesn't erode like the surrounding layers and hence you get these flat tops and rugged cliffs. They're fascinating to look at and to explore on the top. The kangaroos on the other photo were on the top of one of these - as is the dinosaur museum. Thanks again for your interest. Cheers Rob
