Sooc differences #2

Using the posterize setting.
Adorableness! That cock of the head, the direct communication with the photographer, clearly at ease posing. Reminds me of me, with one eye seemingly larger than the other (I have one near-sighted and one uncorrectable far-sighted eye so it appears opposite in size with glasses on.)

I went out and did some exploring with my settlings and it is amazing the difference you get out of the same lens and camera on different settings. I did have a lot of shots I hated and I am still not sure which settings were which when I downloaded...lol cute shot here, the over exposed right hand side front draws my eye to it just a little bit too much, I would darken that spot up a touch.

Hello gorgeous girl!

@jyokota Thanks for your comments Junko. She is a darling and we love her dearly - but she's faking it here! Normally she turns away from the camera - she wasn't expecting this! That is interesting about your unmatched eyes - I hope they don't cause you any sight problems. Zoe's pink eye is a problem - no pigment and she loves lying in the sun - not good at all. Thanks for your interest. Cheers Rob

@sugarmuser Hi Sharon - it was interesting to read of your experiments - and I could relate entirely to not being sure what you did to get that one or this one!! I've found it takes a few goes at a different setting to become accustomed to what to expect - I like some of the settings now that I didn't like at all at first - and it does give a bit of variety. I can see what you're saying about the over exposure - but funnily enough it doesn't worry me - I have come to quite like the excesses of the posterize effect - and our girl is a very black and white girl so it sort of fits my impression of her. Thanks for your interest. Cheers Rob

Ha, she sure looks like she's fully participating willingly. I have depth perception problems, and I use my "blindness" for my clumsiness but I think I'm just clumsy and the depth perception problem just exacerbates it. And when things (including cars) sneak up on my left side it sometimes makes me jump because I don't see it until it's right next to me. Oh, well. could be worse.
