Assorted coloured bottles have also been added to the construction - they add a touch of interest. N.B. Half way through the 52week challenge!!! Week 26 - high or low key.
@sarahlth Good grief Sarah - I don't know any photographers!! (Totally uneducated!!) I do have a book though that gives examples of some photographers and analyses their work - I guess I'll just choose one of them. Do you know one you like?
@madeinnl Hi Ko - It was pretty ingenious - but it might be a bit hot in summer. The walls would be OK but it was just a tin roof - very hot I fear. Pretty cool to look at though! :)
@jgpittenger Hi Jane - I'm afraid I'm very uneducated about US geography - but I Googled Wilmington and it appears to be a seaside state. I don't know what they used as "mortar" in this house but it might not work in a high rainfall location. I've seen a similar thing in Taiwan -where it rains and rains and rains - and they were held together really well with a paper mache/cement mix. I love the way it's up to the imagination of the builder - and what he can get hold of.....
@suzanne234 Hi Suzanne - it is cool to look at but I think it might get really hot in summer - it was just a tin roof with not a lot of insulation!! Lots of ingenuity though... :)
