The reading room in the Library of Congress. Sorry for the overload of architectural shots, but I can't resist. A cultural nod to the movie "National Treasure," which was (apparently) filmed here.
Many thanks for everyone's gracious reception of yesterday's shot of the Capital stairway, on which presidents trod on their way to their inauguration. This city has been amazingly fun to photograph, in between classes, and I really appreciate your comments.

@bkbinthecity Thomas Jefferson's library is in this building... it was wonderful! :) "I cannot live without books; but fewer will suffice where amusement, and not use, is the only future object." - Thomas Jefferson.
Okay I guess I need to go in there. Did you need a ticket ? I usually speed all my time outdoors exploring . After your shots I'm going to need to start going indoors some.
@lesip Hey, thanks for visiting. You live in an amazing city. :) This stunning building is as free as air. Just walk in. It has Thomas Jefferson's library in it, too. What a gift. I have other shots from this building, but I didn't want to overload. We enjoyed our visit, very much.
beautifully captured.
