This is a wooden, carved, mask symbolizing drama (half comedy, half sadness), which hangs in my office. The afternoon sunlight, slanting through the window blinds, lit the mask on the wall as pictured... simultaneously fully frontal and fully in profile, augmented by the stripes. I did try this in b&w, but it was too difficult to discern the mask that way.

How perfect for the idea of being in your office on New Years Day! I like the angles of the lines as they flow over the exaggerated features in the mask.
